International Partners

Partners are mostly associations or organisations similar to RILEM. They sign a MOU and agree on various collaborations with RILEM. The purpose of the relationship with Partners is to create information exchange between RILEM and industry partners who share similar values and interests, and to increase both partner’s opportunities to network in academia and practice. Staff members of Partners typically do not get directly involved in RILEM technical work such as Technical Committees, etc. 

 

 

AATH - Asociación Argentina de Tecnología del Hormigón

Our mission is to provide a fertile ground for studies on Concrete Science and Technology, to disseminate the progress of this discipline within the technical community, and to promote the application of the results of research. The main aims of the AEEA are to promote excellent quality education in various engineering disciplines in Africa at all career levels, to provide a mutual support network for educators, to strengthen institutional collaboration, and to improve teaching and learning. Alconpat International - Latino-American Association of Quality Control, Pathology and Construction Recuperation

The history of the International Association ALCONPAT dates from 1991 with the first Latino-American Congress on Pathology of Constructions CONPAT-91 organized by Alumni & teachers of the Master course on Construction -CEMCO- from the Institute of Construction Sciences “Eduardo Torroja”, CSIC located in Spain. ALCONPAT International is a federation of national branches from 19 Ibero-American countries and individual members. It publishes the journal ALCONPAT and pre-normative documents. It is also devoted to education with courses on corrosion and concrete durability. Several awards are delivered every year.

   
  

The Association of Structural Concrete of Russia (ASC)

The Association of Structural Concrete of Russia (ASC) is a major non-profit professional organization aimed at developing technology and improving competitive standards of the production and services on the concrete and structural concrete market in Russia. The Association comprises 51 members that are leading producers, engineering and consultancy companies, R&D institutes, specialized media and technological universities. ASC has strong and effective relations with government agencies (such as the Russian Ministry for Production and Commerce) and other national professional entities. ASC represents Russia in the International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib), International union of laboratories and experts in construction materials, systems and structures (RILEM), Asian Concrete Federation (ACF), American Concrete Institute (ACI).

IAE - International Academy of Engineering

International Academy of Engineering (IAE) was founded on the base of the Academy of Engineering of the former USSR by the National Engineering Academies of the CIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan,  Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine), which became its founders. IAE was registered by the Ministry of Justice on February 10, 1992 as international public organization that has now its own chapters and departments (branches, representations) in Taiwan/China, Belarus, Greece, Serbia, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic.  The Head office of IEA is quartered in Russia, at No. 9, Bldg.4, Gazetny Side Street, 125009, Moscow.

INBAR

The International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) is an intergovernmental development organization that promotes environmentally sustainable development using bamboo and rattan. 50 Member States are a part of INBAR. In addition to its Secretariat Headquarters in China, INBAR has Regional Offices in Cameroon, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana and India. The primary task of INBAR for 2015-2030 is to champion bamboo and rattan as practical and economical nature-based solutions to meet the future development challenges of producers and users. NEXCEL

Nonmetallic Excellence and Innovation Center for Building Materials (NEXCEL) is jointly established by Saudi Aramco, together with China National Building Material Group (CNBM), and China Building Materials Academy (CBMA). Saudi Aramco as the founding sponsor of NEXCEL and CBMA as NEXCEL’s operator are working together to accelerate nonmetallic technology deployment in the building and construction sector, and deploy innovative nonmetallic technologies to provide more sustainable construction solutions.

 

PROTERRA

The PROTERRA Ibero-American Network (Red Iberoamericana PROTERRA) promotes actions aimed at the development of architecture and construction with earthen materials. The scopes of the association are the generation, dissemination and transfer of knowledge, as well as the constructive practice and preservation of cultural diversity and tangible and intangible heritage. PROTERRA currently has about 130 member specialists and 14 partner institutions, originating from Ibero-American countries, in addition to some European and other partners in North America. Its official languages are Spanish and Portuguese.
