The Liaison Committee is a body initiating contact between international associations of civil engineering. Formed in 1958, current member associations are:

CIB (International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction),
ECCS (European Convention for Constructional Steelwork),
fib (International Federation for Structural Concrete),
IABSE (International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering),
IASS (International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures), and
RILEM.

The Liaison Committee met in Lausanne, Switzerland on 6 November 2015 for its annual meeting to discuss latest developments in the respective associations, upcoming events and joint activities.
