Abstract: In this study, surface-modified inorganic-organic nano silica composite to have self-dispersibility was synthesized, and the effects of the synthesized material on the initial hydration of cement were reviewed. The material was divided into IC, which was SiO2 with irregularly combined carboxyl and hydroxyl, and RC, which was SiO2 with regularly combined carboxyl and hydroxyl when synthesized.
As the added amount of each increased, the flows increased. However, since these synthesized materials had high air content, the increase of flows is believed to have been affected by the increase of air content. However, as the material ages, the rate of the increase of compressive strength was higher compared to that of the plain material. Therefore, given that the amounts of the synthesized material used were 5 and 10 wt% of the amount of cement and the SiO2 content of the solid content of the synthesized nano silica composite was less than 1%, if the SiO2 content of the nano silica composite is increased, then excellent initial dispersibility and compressive strength increase effects will result.
