Abstract: Water security is a key factor for the success of Shanghai Expo 2010. Generally speaking, there are two kinds of water security problem, which are flood hazard and water pollution. In this paper, the characters of the water disasters are analyzed through the collection and analysis of the materials. According to the two different types of water disasters, some proposals are pointed out as the countermeasures for the meeting.
