Abstract: Concrete friction plays a fundamental role at various stages of construction and public works operations, including pumping, formwork filling, construction of facings. A tribometer for fluid material was therefore developed. Tests performed with certain modifications of the interface conditions show that friction is governed by the characteristics of interface (nature of the demoulding agents, roughness, pressure,..). Analysis of the results shows that interface concrete/wall is function of the boundary layer present at the interface concrete/wall.
