UHPFRC 2013: the deadline for abstracts submission has been changed

Dear colleagues

I am pleased to let you know about preparation of AFGC - RILEM - fib - UHPFRC 2013 international colloquium to be held in Marseille (France), sept.30 to oct.2, 2013, on the theme "designing and building with UHPFRC : from innovation to large-scale realizations".

Answering numerous requests we have decided to postpone the deadline for abstracts submission to September 15, 2012.

Submission of full-length papers will still be due by January 31, 2013.

Themes of the colloquium are recalled hereafter:

- Structural Applications in Civil Engineering and bridge structures, major infrastructure projects, marine works, offshore structures

- Frames and building envelopes

- Building elements, functional and architectural components

- Strengthening, Rehabilitation

- Durability (feedback, use in aggressive environments)

- Sustainability, Life Cycle Analysis, Recycling

- Resistance under extreme conditions (fire, earthquake, impact)

- Implementation, in situ application, inspection

- Recommendations, design codes, national and international standards

- Modeling, calculations and justifications, reliability

- Contractual use of UHPC: variants, economy, security, insurance.
