Nominations are invited for the ASCE Zdeněk P. Bažant Medal for Failure and Damage Prevention, which is accompanied by a monetary award of $20,000 thanks to a major contribution from the multinational cement and concrete industry. The medal is awarded every second year and the nomination for the 2020 medal will be due on October 31, 2019. For details see:
