New STAR-in-a-Nutshell 245-RTE

It is very hard to condense a comprehensive document on the state of the art of a certain topic into a 3-page document. This “STAR in a Nutshell” should therefore not be considered as a summary of the exhaustive work of RILEM Technical Committee 245-RTE Reinforcement of Timber Elements in Existing Structures, but more like a brief overview of the contents available in its STAR. The purposes of this “STAR-in-a-Nutshell” is: 1) to provide some initial guidance to a non-expert reader, 2) to inspire more comprehensive reading of the STAR and 3) to clarify the relevance of the contents before downloading the full STAR for further details.
