New RILEM Partner: NEXCEL

RILEM is thrilled to announce a new partner: the Nonmetallic Excellence and Innovation Center for Building Materials (NEXCEL)!

NEXCEL, the Nonmetallic Excellence and Innovation Center for Building Materials, is operated by the Chinese Building Material Academy (CBMA). NEXCEL is initiated by Aramco and CNBM (Chinese National Building Materials). The vision of NEXCEL is to transform the building and construction sector to nonmetallic based materials to improve sustainability, and to expand and accelerate nonmetallic technology deployment in the building and construction sector.

NEXCEL has 6 focus areas (please see image below). There are several areas that are in common with the RILEM themes. RILEM look forward a fruitful and engaging collaboration in the future!
