A symposium "From concrete nanoscale to structures" is organized by the Chair “Materials Science for Sustainable Construction” and supported by LafargeHolcim. This symposium is in memory of Gilles Chanvillard.

By gathering people who have worked with Gilles Chanvillard, the symposium aims at celebrating his structured and open minded approach, his collaborative spirit, his reverence for the work of previous researchers and his constant care for pedagogy.

The symposium will take place on July 5-6, 2016 at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (Champs-sur-Marne, France).
