Each year, the Robert L’Hermite Medal is awarded to an author under 40 who performed high level scientific research in the field of ‘Building Materials and Structures’.

Guillaume Habert has been selected for this award for his pioneering work on environmental analysis of building materials and processes along with his contribution to the development and understanding of alternative materials such as geopolymers and recycled products.

He presented his lecture “Paving the path toward sustainable concrete” at Concrete 2015 held in conjunction with the 69th RILEM Annual Week in Melbourne on Wednesday 2 September 2015.

At the end of his lecture, Guillaume Habert received the 2015 Robert L’Hermite Medal from Nicolas Roussel, RILEM Technical Activities Committee Chair and President of the Jury.

Congratulations, Guillaume!
