This Open Access letter offers a comprehensive analysis of the standardization needs, divided into the areas of planning, concrete and execution.

This year, one of two RILEM Gustavo Colonnetti medals has been assigned to Dr Dengwu Jiao, City University of Hong Kong. Net-Zero Future 2025
 
The abstract submission deadline of the 2^nd International Conference on Net-Zero Built Environment: Innovations in Materials, Structures, and Management Practices has been extended to 15 March! This RILEM co-sponsored event will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, on 5-7 November 2025.

 

 

Report of workshop in Tanzania
 
RILEM co-sponsored the Workshop on Advances in Concrete Technology, taking place last month in Zanzibar, Tanzania. A short summary to this course is available here. A huge WELCOME to all the participants of this course who received a 3-year RILEM membership!

 

 

… the newly established RILEM TC QPA - Quality and Performance Assurance of Additively Manufactured Cementitious Composites using Advanced Non-Invasive Techniques will be introduced at the RILEM co-sponsored 11^th International Conference on Acoustic Emission & 27^th International Acoustic Emission Symposium (IIIAE 2025)? A dedicated workshop will be hosted on Thursday 6 November as part of the program of IIIAE, taking place on 4-7 November 2025 in Nagoya, Japan.
