Introducing new TC CUC
 
In May 2024, RILEM established the Technical Committee CUC. The Open Access paper RILEM TC CUC: Carbon dioxide uptake by concrete during and after service life – Opening Letter in RILEM Tech Lett, presents aspects of the motivation to establish the TC, a brief overview of the state of the art in the field, the scheduled work programme, and the anticipated impact of the TC outputs. TC APD represents an optimal international collaborative arena that can take a substantial and recognizable stride toward addressing critical aspects associated with an advanced performance-engineered design of paving composites.

 
 

Concrete 2025
 
RILEM is happy to co-sponsor the bi-annual event of its long-term partner in Oceania: the Concrete Institute of Australia. Concrete 2025 will take place in Adelaide, on 7-10 September 2025. The conference will discuss and share information on what a sustainable future looks like in the concrete industry, and because of the concrete industry.

 
 

GEOME 5
 
RILEM is happy to co-sponsor the fifth edition of GEOME - The future of environmental and civil engineering: Smart, digital, and green, taking place in Salé, Morocco, on 19-21 June 2025. The conference will explore advancements in smart and innovative materials for sustainable engineering, and the transformation of urban environments through smart city initiatives.
