Modeling of Localized Inelastic Deformation
 
The RILEM EAC-sponsored “Advanced course on Modeling of Localized Inelastic Deformation” will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 2-6 September 2024. This course provides an overview of modeling approaches used in the mechanics of inelastic materials and structures.

RILEM is happy to co-sponsor the 22^nd SIACOT - Ibero-American Seminar on Earthen Architecture and Construction, taking place in La Serena, Chile, on 19-23 November 2024. RILEM co-sponsored the Italian Concrete Conference 2024 - Innovation and sustainability in concrete structures, last month, in Florence, Italy. The conference was an opportunity for debating the technologies related to concrete and building industrialization, with a focus on research, innovation of materials, and sustainability of the built environment. ReMade@ARI has funding from EU + CH + UK to help the circular economy by providing materials characterisation. In particular ReMade offers assistance for experiments, training on demand in preparation for an experiment or for data analysis on data collected. This is an ideal way for young scientists to learn new analytical techniques while being helped at all stages from proposal to data analysis.
