New MAAS paper on bond behaviour of TRC
 
A new paper is available in Materials and Structures: Article of RILEM TC 292-MCC: bond behaviour of textile-reinforced concrete—a review, by P. Preinstorfer et al. This is an OA paper, which compiles a wide range of investigation results addressing the bond properties of different types of textiles; the paper aims to reveal the complex interactions between the individual parameters that contribute to the bond performance in TRC.

 
 

New MAAS paper on thermal energy storage
 
Reviewing experimental studies on sensible thermal energy storage in cementitious composites: report of the RILEM TC 299-TES, by Juan J. Gaitero et al., is a new paper published by Materials and Structures.  This OA article presents a comprehensive review of studies exploring the use of cementitious materials, particularly concrete, as sensible heat storage media at varying scales, ranging from laboratory investigations to prototype evaluations.

 
 

Abstract submission deadline
 
The abstract submission deadline for the Conference on durability of infrastructures is fast approaching! Please, submit your contribution by 30 June 2024. The conference will take place jointly with the 8th RILEM Spring Convention, in Mendrisio, Switzerland, on 22-28 March 2025.
