First female fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers (UK) Marjem Chatterton was a pioneering engineer specialising in multi storey reinforced concrete buildings. Mrs. Chatterton used her experience with concrete to design some of Zimbabwe's first skyscrapers, banks and building societies as well as cotton, fertiliser, and sugar industrial buildings. She became the Institute of Structural Engineers’ first female fellow in 1954. You can read more about this amazing woman here!
