PhD Symposium Bio-stabilisation for earthen construction

This mini symposium is open to doctoral and post-doctoral students conducting research in the field of bio-stabilisation of earthen materials for building or construction. It aims to make known the work carried out in the laboratories of the RILEM TC members, share scientific results and solicit exchanges with other experts in the field.
Each 10-minute presentation will be followed by 10-minute questions.
For participants, it is an opportunity to expand their collaborative network. In particular, for students, it is an opportunity to solicit the views of experts on their work.
On request, a certificate of participation may be issued to prove the right.
The symposium will be organised entirely online.
It is completely free.

Topics:
All topics in the field of bio-stabilizers and Bio-stabilization methods, including: state of the art review, methods of characterization, impact on: microstructure, mineralogical composition, mechanical properties, hygrothermal properties, durability, processing, environmental impact…

Submission and guidelines for presentation:
100 words abstract must be sent to Dr Ana BRAS at A.M.ArmadaBras@ljmu.ac.uk, with the email subject "Abstract TC BEC PhD Symposium".

This abstract should focus on the objectives of the study, the methods and the results because the community attending this symposium is already familiar with the context of using earthen materials.
