JCGC (Joint Committee of the GLOBE Consensus) meeting

GLOBE is the Global Consensus on Sustainable Developments in the Built Environment.

The next ordinary JCGC (Joint Committee of the GLOBE Consensus) meeting is on September 23, 2022. from 12:00 to 16:00 CEST. A link will be sent soon by email to all JCGC members. The meeting will give the opportunity to discuss the JCGC Policy Advice Document aimed for dissemination at the next UN Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Change Conference in Egypt in November 2022.

RILEM and GLOBE will be represented in the COP27 by Prof. Karen Scrivener, who is member of the JCGC. In this context we would also like to congratulate her for being selected as a member of Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET) for the UN Secretary-General. CEET is a global, high-level body of engineers and energy systems experts to contribute to the UN Secretary-General’s goal to build a coalition to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, and to the UN generally on engineering pathways to achieve comprehensive decarbonization by mid-century.
