ICCRRR 2015 - 4th International Conference on Concrete Repair, Rehabilitation and Retrofitting, Leipzig, Germany
Following the successful 1st, 2nd and 3rd “International Conference on Concrete Repair, Rehabilitation and Retrofitting” (ICCRRR 2005, 2008 and 2012), ICCRRR 2015 will be held in Leipzig, Germany.
The parent subject of ICCRRR 2015 is dedicated to repair, rehabilitation and retrofitting of infrastructure constructions.
The conference will be organized and co-chaired by the Leipzig Institute for Materials Research and Testing and Leipzig University (Germany) together with the University of Cape Town and the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). ICCRRR 2015 will takes place in conjunction with the 4th “International Workshop on Concrete Spalling due to Fire Exposure”, 08 - 09 October 2015 in Leipzig, Germany.
AIMS OF CONFERENCE
ICCRRR 2015 will focus on the increasingly important aspect in modern infrastructure provision and retention: that of appropriately repairing, maintaining, rehabilitating, and if necessary retrofitting existing infrastructure with a view to extending its life and maximising its economic return. The fields of concrete repair, rehabilitation and retrofitting, as well as concrete durability and structural performance remain some of the most important for today's infrastructure. To master the challenges arising from this it is important to remain updated on recent developments in material technology, construction methods, performance assessment and non-destructive testing, as well as design, specifications and guidelines, and service life prediction models for both new and repaired/rehabilitated structures. ICCRRR 2015 is intended to bring together practising engineers, scientists, specifiers, researchers and others from around the world to share knowledge and experience on current developments in concrete repair, rehabilitation and retrofitting, as well as structural performance and material durability.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION EXTENDED: Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts via email by 31. October 2014
Email: abstract@iccrrr.com
Abstracts should have a length between 200 - 300 words, must relate to the scope of the conference as outlined below and need to be written in clear English. Authors of accepted abstracts will receive instructions on the preparation of full-length papers. All submitted abstracts and papers will be fully peer-reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and authors will be required to give an oral presentation at the event.
